Great Bowls of Fire

The Ottawa Guild of Potters is once again holding their tasty annual fundraiser for the Ottawa Food Bank. The idea is simple: several great restaurants from around town are providing fantastic soup and bread, and attendees get to keep the handmade bowl they eat from! Tickets are $35, with all proceeds to the Ottawa Food Bank. For more information, please visit the Guild's website or check out the event poster.

Game goers will be given boxes of Mac & Cheese to be used as shakers to cheer the 67s on to victory in this 7:30 p.m. game versus the Oshawa Generals. Fans will be encouraged to donate the Mac & Cheese to the Ottawa Food Bank at the game’s conclusion. For tickets and more information, visit the Ottawa 67s website.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Irish Society of the National Capital Region has been supporting the Ottawa Food Bank for many years now, and we’ll be a part of their parade again this year. Our volunteers will walk the parade route, from City Hall to Lansdowne park via Bank Street, collecting much needed food and funds along the way. For more information, please see the Irish Society website.

March 27 – April 10

Spring Food Drive

Last year’s Spring Food Drive was a great success, with over 80,000 pounds of food raised for the Ottawa Food Bank. We’re shooting for even more this year, so please help us by donating non-perishable food items at the collection bins in your local Metro or Loblaws grocery store this spring.
