General Donations
Help fight community hunger! Please use this page if you wish to make a general donation or received a letter in the mail. Your charitable donation receipt for income tax purposes will be emailed to you automatically.
Monthly Donation
Set up a monthly donation and help fight community hunger all year round! Your charitable donation receipt for income tax purposes will be emailed to you at the end of the calendar year. Alternatively, fill out this form and mail it to us with a void cheque or credit card number.
In Memoriam/In Honour Donation
Make a donation in memory of someone special or in honour of a birthday, special occasion or the holidays. The Ottawa Food Bank will send a personalized card on your behalf. Your charitable donation receipt for income tax purposes will be emailed to you or the gift recipient automatically.
Event Donation
Make a donation as part of Lunch Money Day, Drive Away Hunger, Food Aid or a company food drive. Your charitable donation receipt for income tax purposes will be emailed to you automatically.
Donate Securities
As you may be aware, the May 2006 Federal Budget eliminated the tax on capital gains realized on donations of listed securities - including stocks and mutual funds - to registered charities. For more information, please contact Francine Rukundo by email at

Food Industry Donations
Food industry donations play a key role in the success of the Ottawa Food Bank. We will gladly accept both large and small quantities of food products. Contact Gary McCarthy, Operations Manager, by email at
